Engage your people

Project: T.O.P. Leaders is a distinctively Australian programme of operational and frontline leadership development focused on improving operational effectiveness. The programme develops the capacity of participants to more effectively engage, enable and empower their team-members through the use of the E3 Australian Leadership Effectiveness Matrix.

The 'engage' phase of  Project: T.O.P. Leaders focuses on creating 'tension for change' and engaging participants in the developmental process. It consists of:

Step 1. T.O.P. Leaders Objective Briefing

Each participating leader provides a briefing to LIA on the objectives they are pursuing in their business/team plus their assessment on their team’s current state of readiness to achieve those objectives.

Step 2. E3 Culture of Leadership Profile

Utilising our proprietary online diagnostic tool all employees contribute to an E3 Culture of Leadership Profile, providing benchmark data on 22 critical systemic contributors to employee engagement, enablement & empowerment. Systemic strengths and weaknesses are identified, providing 'seed material' for live leadership projects to be conducted in phase two.

Step 2a. E3 Leadership Effectiveness Profile™

Measuring against our proprietary 'E3 Australian Leadership Effectiveness Matrix', employees provide feedback on the effectiveness of 22 critical 'tactical, operational and/or project' leadership competencies and behaviours, as exhibited by their leader. Strengths and weaknesses are identified, enabling customisation of the experiential-learning component and providing further 'seed material' for live leadership projects to be conducted in phase two.

Step 3. T.O.P. Leadership goal setting

By comparing the organisation's/team's objectives with the data from both profiles, participants are encouraged to set a number of personal/professional objectives around their leadership effectiveness.

From here we move to phase two - Enable.
