The BattleFit Leader™ programme launched...
ANZAC Day, 2008 has seen the launch of a new operational leadership development programme, by Leadership In Action, aimed at closing the gap between organisational strategy and effective execution. Called The BattleFit Leader™, this programme follows in the usual tradition of Leadership In Action's highly regarded immersive and action-learning offerings but focuses on the actions participants and their teams take over a 90-day period.
"Nearly all of our clients have a strong awareness of the need to develop and articulate sound strategy," observes Leadership In Action's founder James Michael. "But there has been a clear gap for most in translating their strategy into sustained action, or execution." The BattleFit Leader™ will focus on developing the leadership skills, processes and behaviours required at an operational level to drive from strategy to execution. The programme comprises three phases: Firstly a 360-degree assessment of the participant's current operational leadership effectiveness; secondly, facilitation of the highly-regarded four-day immersion learning programme The Leadership Experience™; and finally, a coaching and implementation programme designed to drive measurable execution in the workplace over a 90-day period.
